About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of user trust and transparency experiences within the Trust & Safety ecosystem.

In this role, you will

  • design and build user-facing systems that help people understand how platform governance works — including moderation decisions, enforcement actions, appeals, and reporting processes. Your work will play a key role in making governance more transparent, understandable, and fair from the user’s perspective.
  • You will partner closely with engineering, design, policy, operations, and data teams to translate complex governance frameworks into intuitive and scalable product experiences that serve a global community of users.
  • What you'll do
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for user trust and transparency products across the platform.
  • Design clear and transparent user experiences that communicate moderation decisions, enforcement actions, and policy explanations.
  • Build and evolve scalable systems for user appeals and reporting, improving both fairness perception and operational efficiency.
  • Develop in-product education and guidance mechanisms that help users understand platform rules, community standards, and acceptable behavior.
  • Improve how governance outcomes are communicated to users, ensuring clarity, transparency, and consistency across user touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, policy, operations, and data teams to deliver user-centric governance experiences.
  • Leverage user insights, behavioral data, and governance metrics to continuously improve transparency and strengthen user trust in platform decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience in user-facing platforms, Trust & Safety systems, governance products, or complex platform ecosystems.
  • Strong user empathy and the ability to design clear communication experiences for complex policy or governance scenarios.
  • Experience building products related to appeals, reporting systems, user notifications, or governance transparency is preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, design, policy, and operations teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights and experimentation to improve product experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building trust, transparency, or governance-related products for large-scale internet platforms.
  • Familiarity with Trust & Safety systems, moderation workflows, or platform governance frameworks.
  • Experience designing products for global user communities or large-scale UGC platforms.
