Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Database Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to operate as part of an integrated IT lifecycle team sustaining complex cyber system for the Federal client..
What You'll Be Doing:
Administer and maintain databases and data management systems that by directing or performing all related activities to keep the data secure
Implement and enforce approved Data Management Standards that support the timely and efficient compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data from databases
Resolve database and server issues
Apply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standards
Test systems and resolve security vulnerabilities
Determining appropriate IT policies, while creating and improving upon system documentation
Interact with and assist customers from various parts of USCYBERCOM
Required
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/Poly
- 5+ years of experience as a Database, Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Cybersecurity Role
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Databases, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Active DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification or higher (ex: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)

Qualifications
- Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
- Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), and/or STIGs/IAVA A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution
- Has, or is willing to gain, more diverse IT skills, including Windows/Linux, networking, and more
- Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
- Security Clearance Requirement:
- An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

- Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
