MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
* 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
* 3 years of experience as a product manager for auction, ranking or
recommendations products.
* Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5 years of experience with ranking and relevance systems at scale.
* Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
* Deep experience with data and experimentation and deduce product nuanced
insights.
* Strong understanding of AI/machine learning, information retrieval, and
statistical concepts.
* Familiarity with large-scale AI/ML, deep learning models, LLMs, data
analysis.
* Ability to work with executive leadership to drive alignment across business
areas, and understand technical algorithms.

- promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
- As a Senior Product Manager for YouTube Ads Quality, you will lead the goals and
- execution for how we match the right ad to the right user at the right time. You
- will own the core machine learning and ranking strategies that dictate ad
- delivery across YouTube’s surfaces (In-Stream, Shorts, Feed). In this role, you
- will partner closely with executive Engineers, Data Scientists, and
- cross-functional leaders to evolve our auction dynamics and recommendation
- models.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology
- that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.
- We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products
- including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as
- analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses
- with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to
- large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver
- measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
- Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
- experience, and relevant education or training.
- US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- * Define and own the product goals, strategy, and roadmap for YouTube’s User
- Quality ranking systems to enhance user satisfaction and achieve business
- goals.
- * Partner deeply with Engineering and Data Science teams to conceptualize,
- develop, and refine ranking models, auction dynamics, and recommendation
- algorithms.
- * Lead complex technical execution to build and deploy next-generation machine
- learning and predictive engagement models across YouTube surfaces.
- * Drive metrics and experimentation by defining key performance indicators and
- designing A/B tests to evaluate changes and guide data-driven decisions.
- * Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex ranking concepts,
- product plans, and experiment impacts to leadership and partner teams.
