Title: Product Manager – Tech
Location: 1 Washington Park, Newark, NJ 07102
Duties: Define and manage the product roadmap for the Audible content system
products, including sprint backlogs, grooming, planning and execution. Set and
continuously manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders including senior
leadership team. Work closely with business groups such as marketing, content,
engineering, finance, design, program management, legal and other internal teams
to deliver products globally. Lead world-class product managers, engineers, QA,
UX designers, and other partner stakeholders, providing guidance and direction
to achieve the product vision for customer-centric product launches and
improvements. Create and maintain sequencing of projects, prioritization, and
trade-offs vis-à-vis short-term and longer-term strategic goals. Use hard data
and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Clearly
communicate data insights to others. Work with other business partners to
perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights
and product requirements. Drive the implementation of recommendations derived
from analysis into product features.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer
- Science, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience as a
- Product Manager or a related occupation involving experience in digital product
- management. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
- Two (2) years in each of the following:
- - Working on consumer, creator, or business-facing products in the media space,
- on features similar to search, personalization, generative AI, Onix, or
- publishing.
- One (1) year in each of the following:
- - Partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve business results across
- teams with differing goals
- - Discussing technical concepts, scheduling trade-offs, and championing new
- ideas with technical and non-technical employees
- - Translating new generative AI technology into successful consumer, creator, or
- business facing applications
- - Working with SQL
- - Data analysis using Tableau.
- Salary: $148,450 - $192,300 /year. Dependent on the position offered, equity,
- sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a
- total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial,

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
