Job DescriptionNineStar Connect is looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer III to help design, maintain, and evolve our next-generation service provider network.

If you're passionate about complex routing, carrier-grade infrastructure, and building reliable networks that serve thousands of customers, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.What You'll DoAs a Network Engineer III, you'll play a key role in the design, operation, and advancement of NineStar's core network infrastructure, including:Configuring, maintaining, and upgrading core service provider network devicesSupporting and optimizing 100G and 400G transport networksManaging DWDM systems, MPLS networks, and private/public eBGP peeringMaintaining public IPv4 and IPv6 addressing infrastructureResearching, testing, and deploying emerging service provider technologiesProviding advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for network operationsAdministering critical network services including DNS, DHCP, TACACS, and monitoring platformsDeveloping and maintaining accurate network documentationTraining and mentoring fellow engineers and technical staffContributing to long-term network architecture planning and strategic initiativesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years of related experience, orAssociate's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 10 years of related experienceExtensive experience supporting service provider networksStrong expertise in:BGP and OSPF routing protocolsMPLS environmentsComplex routing and network designCisco IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR platformsAdvanced troubleshooting and diagnosticsLinux-based network services including DNS, DHCP, and TACACSExcellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred CertificationsCCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or higherCCNP Service Provider concentration strongly preferredAdditional InformationNineStar Connect does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, sexual preference, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
