Candidates should be able to demonstrate substantial experience in reviewing negotiating and drafting a broad range of contracts and documents for sales, channel, vendor, licensing and other commercial business contexts, as well as a comprehensive awareness of potential issues and solutions in a fast paced environment. Candidates should be enthusiastic about technology and comfortable in a sales driven environment supporting transactions focused in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, but may also involve support of other regions.
Experience as an attorney in both law firm and in house roles preferred. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Drafting and reviewing agreements including customer/sales agreements, network services agreements, reseller/distributor agreements, master services agreements, software licenses and related sales/vendor documents.</li><li>Assistance with compliance in various areas such as data privacy, open source, FCPA and export.</li><li>Work with Deals Desk to structure customer transaction for policy compliance and revenue recognition.</li><li>Support Finance, Products, Engineering, Sales and other business groups as needed with any legal requests that may arise.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified lawyer within an EU jurisdiction</li><li>Fluent in English; additional fluency in French and/or German is helpful </li><li>Problem solving in quickly moving situations</li><li>Negotiating contracts with customers, suppliers and technology partners</li><li>Drafting documents using a commercial, client focused style</li><li>Excellent communication and organization skills</li><li>Cooperating effectively as part of a team, sharing information and responsibility</li><li>Maintaining a controlled and flexible approach under pressure</li><li>Understanding of revenue recognition principles</li><li>Understanding of tender and procurement processes and channel-led transactions</li><li>Experience in data privacy and technology laws</li><li>Providing responsive, professional service that effectively helps internal clients to resolve issues</li><li>Commercially astute and desire to stay current on key legal, regulatory and business developments</li></ul><p>#LI-NS1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>
Compensation
</strong></span></p><p>At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below, and applies to candidates based in European Union (EU) member states, in local currency.
This range is provided in accordance with EU pay transparency requirements. </p><p>The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.</p><p>For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.</p><p>In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program.
