Network Engineer

Purpose:

Implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure.

Complete network improvement projects with current network engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
• * (Configure and install various network devices and services (ex. Firewall, Switches, Wireless controller, NMS).
• * Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches and hot fixes.
• * Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• * Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• * Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• * Managing & keeping track of all network assets (Hardware & software).
• * Communicate with HQ network engineers in South Korea to implement & operate Global Mando Network Solutions.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience:
• * Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or related field
• * More than 5 years’ experience in the above-mentioned technical areas
• * Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale network environment across multiple locations
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• * Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLAN trunking. Experience with Cisco
• * Strong knowledge of firewall management (Palo Alto, PFsense or Cisco) and VPN technologies (IPSEC/SSL)
• * Experience managing enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions and troubleshooting RF interference.
• * Deep understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
• * CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications are highly valued.
