MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
* 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
* Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field,
or equivalent practical engineering experience.
* Experience leading complex, highly technical product management initiatives.
* Experience working with AI/ML systems or large language models, including
technical aspects like data pipelines, grounding, and citation structures.
* Experience with media, content and rights management.
* Strong process-design mindset, with the ability to formalize and scale
project workflows across large engineering organizations.
* Demonstrated technical capability to actively participate in and contribute
to the implementation and architecture of engineering systems.

In this role, you will

- Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers,
- marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to
- the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
- execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
- promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
- Google is launching a new cross-product initiative enabling users to integrate
- trusted sources directly into their Google AI experience.
- We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help scale our sources, surfaces, and
- systems, bringing an improved AI experience to more users. In this role, you
- will operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical implementation,
- and project execution to ensure successful integration across Gemini Notebook,
- Gemini, AI Mode, and Deep Research. You will require a strong product strategy
- and sense, process orientation and technical depth to drive the architecture of
- our core engineering systems.
- Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
- experience, and relevant education or training.
- US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- * Define and execute the product goal and comprehensive roadmap for Expert
- Intelligence across NotebookLM, Gemini, AIM, and Deep Research.
- * Collaborate deeply with engineering to design, implement, and optimize the
- underlying engineering systems and infrastructure needed to support "liquid
- content" ingestion and integration.
- * Drive operational excellence and establish development and tracking processes
- to ensure seamless execution across multiple cross-product teams.
- * Translate complex machine learning and LLM patterns—such as citation
- integrity, grounding, and agentic applications—into scalable technical
- requirements.
- * Coordinate with Partnerships, Legal, Marketing, and Engineering to address
- partner data protection, intellectual property, and analytics requirements
- within the system architecture.
