What will you do at Google?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of product management experience with technical products.
* 2 years of experience in product management, with a track record of taking
technical products from conception to launch (0 to 1).
* Experience in Enterprise Networking, including network planning, network
design, data center design, and global network deployments.
* Experience in tooling and software systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in running large-scale operations and knowledge of financial
models and can make build, buy, and partner decisions.
* Experience in product management, software and hardware engineering,
distributed systems, network design, operations, deployment, content
distribution network, and computer sciences.
* Understanding of network technologies and architectures, Cloud interconnect
ecosystem, bandwidth management, routing protocols and software defined
networking.

In this role, you will

- the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
- execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
- promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
- As a Product manager in the Google Global Networking (GGN) team, you will define
- strategy, product roadmaps and drive execution alignment for GGN. You will bring
- customer and product-centric focus to GGN teams by collaborating with various
- teams involved in planning, building, delivering, operating and supporting GGN
- products to our customers and partners.
- This role is a data driven operation and requires user experience focus to
- define, measure and report on various product metrics. You will understand the
- networking technologies and networking market landscape.
- You will drive the execution of GGN products through the entire product
- lifecycle and take ownership at every step, prioritizing the highest impact
- activities, driving intra and cross-functional communication and ultimately
- ensuring timely delivery of GGN products to our customers.

- Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
- experience, and relevant education or training.
- US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- * Build the direction and strategy for GGN's global backbone network.
- * Represent GGN and collaborate with partner teams to build cross-functional
- alignment and roadmaps supporting business needs of GGN and our customers.
- * Define the roadmap and features supporting security and sovereignty needs of
- Cloud customers.
- * Drive customer empathy and product-centric thinking, aim for the best user
- experience.
- * Increase awareness, training, education, of GGN products to enable Google
- businesses to offer excellent services using the infrastructure.
