What will you do at Google?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
* 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
* Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial
intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
* 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic
marketing, business operations, consulting).
* 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical
presentations to senior leadership.
* 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
* 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical
leadership.
* Experience using SoTA LLMs to create new product experiences (e.g., prompting
or SFT with Gemini to create user-visible experiences) and with highly scaled
Search, Recommendation, or Ads products.

In this role, you will
- work cross-functionally to guide products from conception
- to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down
- complex problems into steps that drive product development.

- Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers,
- marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to
- the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
- execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
- promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
- The Ads in AI Experiences team is responsible for one of the highest-priority
- initiatives at Google: reinventing Search Ads for the AI era (AI Overview, AI
- Mode). We are building the tech stack, the user experience, and the business
- model simultaneously. Our mission is to ensure that as Search experience evolves
- with AI, we unlock new ways for users to discover and engage with businesses
- through seamless, next-generation commercial experiences. We are a team of
- risk-takers and builders, responsible for experimenting with rapid velocity to
- define the next decade of Google’s revenue engine.
- Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that
- connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.
- We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products
- including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as
- analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses
- with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to
- large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver
- measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
- Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
- experience, and relevant education or training.
- US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- * Re-invent Search ads for these new AI experiences - AI Mode and AI Overviews
- (AIX2). Experiment with a wide variety of new Ad experiences in AI
- Experiences and launch the subset of these that are successful.
- * Navigate Search Ads through the AI platform shift. Experiment and launch
- novel ad experiences for AI Experiences like AI Mode, leveraging Gemini to
- ensure that we can continue to provide excellent user and advertiser value
- with ads in AI experiences.
