What will you do at Goldman Sachs?
You will: Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated tests for all technical changes Grow your technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the team's Agile process Participate in continuous improvement efforts You are: Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues Open minded when approaching problem solving within the context of a team Analytical, with an ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at well-engineered solutions Motivated to learn and contribute technical and product solutions and ideas to a broad team Basic
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience 1+ years (Analyst) or 3+ years (Associate) of experience with Java or other related Object-Oriented development language Experience with microservices architecture and API development Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members and product owners
Preferred Qualifications
- Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git) An understanding of common application architecture design patterns Experience working in an Agile environment Salary Range The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $95000-$145000.
- In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
