You will lead and develop a team of analysts, set technical and analytical standards, own the team’s priorities, and partner with stakeholders and senior leadership on high-impact initiatives.</p><p>You and your team will work primarily with dbt, BigQuery, Looker, and GitHub, while using AI-enabled tools such as Cursor, MCP integrations, n8n, and OpenClaw to automate workflows and scale how the team works.</p><p>Success in this role requires strong leadership, technical depth, business understanding, and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Lead, manage, and develop a team of Data Analysts, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional growth.</li><li>Own the team’s priorities and analytical roadmap, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-impact business needs.</li><li>Define and drive technical and analytical standards across data modeling, SQL, dbt, testing, code reviews, and BI.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders and senior leadership to understand business needs, define KPIs, and translate data into actionable recommendations.</li><li>Lead high-impact analyses and guide the development of reliable, scalable data models and Looker dashboards.</li><li>Ensure data quality and lead investigations into anomalies, tracking issues, and inconsistent metrics.</li><li>Drive AI-native ways of working by turning repeatable analyses and processes into reusable, automated workflows.</li><li>Stay hands-on with data, code, and analysis when tackling complex or high-impact problems.</li></ul><h3><strong>Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in business, growth, or data analytics within a fast-paced SaaS or web company, including <strong>2+ years of direct people management experience leading a team of Data Analysts.</strong></li><li>Strong business understanding and the ability to translate business needs into clear analytical priorities and actionable insights.</li><li>Strong technical leadership and experience establishing analytics and engineering best practices.</li><li>Advanced SQL and production experience with dbt, including data modeling, testing, lineage, and CI.</li><li>Experience with Git-based development and code review workflows.</li><li>Experience building decision-oriented dashboards in Looker or a comparable BI platform.</li><li>Practical experience using AI agents in analytical or engineering workflows.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.</li><li>A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Nice to have</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience designing and implementing a governed semantic layer.</li><li>Python.</li><li>Experience with statistics, experimentation, or A/B testing.</li><li>Experience with B2B, multi-tenant SaaS businesses.</li><li>Experience building agent skills, n8n workflows, Cursor projects, or internal data agents.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>#LI-Hybrid</strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Joining Connecteam Is The Smart Move:</span></h2><ul><li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>We build our people up.</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Every team member is treated as a long-term investment and we recognize the value in always nurturing and training them so they can go above and beyond in their skills and job duties.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>We make an impact on our customer’s business. </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are on a mission to provide managers of all business types and sizes with the tools they need to communicate, operate, engage, and run their deskless workforce.
