Skills and CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDemonstrates strong knowledge of MS programs including: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointClear written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex business concepts to a senior audienceExcellent stakeholder management skills with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordinglyFamiliarity with debt capital markets preferred (e.g. coursework and/or relevant work experience) with prior experience of financial/legal documentation reviewProficiency in German language both verbal and written is a plusEducationMinimum undergraduate degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree)Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experienceResponsibilitiesThe Ratings Operations Specialist III role is responsible for reviewing debt documents, applying rating procedures, managing issuance-related activities, and supporting the rating process through effective stakeholder engagement and quality control.Review lengthy debt documents and rating relevant provisions within the deal documents or pricing supplementsResponsible for applying various rules, guidelines & procedures to a subset of issuance submitted for rating assignmentDetermine qualification using defined criteria for current published rating or whether analysis is required by Lead AnalystContinue to develop broad based knowledge of financial instruments, policies, and related business practicesFacilitate comprehensive issuance portfolio management and issuer relationship management where neededPromptly & efficiently escalate, identify and research issuance, discrepancies, conflicts or otherwise & summarize findings for the Lead AnalystAs part of the rating process, associate will, as needed, interact with issuers, investors and intermediariesProvide professional and prompt resolution related to inquiries for both internal & external clientsWilling to accept new challenges and demonstrates flexibility with last minute changes in commitments and deadlinesAudit the entries submitted by the Ratings Operations Specialist II to make sure entries are accurate and complete, check on Disclosure sheetsRelease of rating from the specialty queuesParticipate in semi-annual review of debts released by RDS teamParticipate in annual review of Standard Operating procedures (SOP)Participate in ad hoc special projectsAbout the TeamThe Ratings Operations team plays a critical role in supporting the ratings process by reviewing debt issuance documentation, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of rating-related data.
Working closely with analysts, issuers, investors, and other market participants, the team helps facilitate efficient rating operations while supporting high-quality service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.
