Skills and CompetenciesMinimum 10 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance, or insurance consulting industry with deep domain expertise across key insurance workflowsStrong knowledge of regional and global insurance regulatory frameworks, industry dynamics, and emerging market trendsHands-on experience in property and casualty underwriting, natural catastrophe modeling and applications required.

Experience in solvency, portfolio management, climate risk management, and stress testing preferredDemonstrated understanding of generative artificial intelligence use cases and applications within insurance and reinsurance markets preferredExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, board members, and senior client stakeholdersPublic speaking experience preferred, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesComfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlinesStrong experience using AI tools to lead transformative initiatives for insurers and application of agentic workflows for insurers with familiarity of AI-related risks and governance frameworks is a plus.EducationBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial or a related fieldAdvanced degree or postgraduate qualification preferredResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted insurance industry expert, driving client engagement, solution design, thought leadership, and go-to-market execution across the Asia Pacific region.Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and executive leaders to strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business opportunitiesProvide subject matter expertise and support clients in interpreting and applying Moody’s solutions across insurance and reinsurance workflowsLead solution design activities by identifying client needs and aligning Moody’s offerings to address complex business challengesManage client proposals, proof of concepts, and demonstrations using industry best practices to maximize client value and business impactDesign, develop, and execute market outreach and thought leadership initiatives focused on key industry themes, regulatory developments, and emerging risksCollaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Solution Specialists, product teams, and other internal stakeholders to support sales strategy execution and business development effortsTranslate emerging market trends, competitive insights, and regulatory requirements into product recommendations and business cases that support future solution developmentDeliver internal training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing sessions on client use cases, workflows, personas, and industry developments to enhance commercial effectivenessAbout the TeamThe Industry Practice Group is comprised of practitioners, former regulators, and subject matter experts specializing in areas including underwriting, catastrophe modeling, climate risk, financial crime compliance, and generative artificial intelligence.

The team advises existing and prospective customers across a broad range of insurance workflows while partnering closely with product, research, advisory, partnerships, customer success, and sales teams to align Moody’s solutions with evolving industry challenges.
