Skills and Competencies 5 to 10 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting experience, including Classic and Optimized Contract ManagementStrong solution design expertise across revenue recognition, contract management, performance obligations, SSP allocation, contract modifications, posting, reconciliation, and month-end closeKnowledge of IFRS 15, ASC 606, SOX controls, audit support, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue accounting.

Ability to shape requirements, manage multiple priorities, and deliver scalable finance solutions using tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and VisioExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to senior stakeholders, Technology teams, and delivery partnersStrong understanding of integrations across revenue accounting, sales and distribution, financial accounting, general ledger, billing, CRM, and middleware platformsExperience using AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve documentation, testing, reporting, and finance process efficiencyEducation Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceSAP S/4HANA or SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting certification is preferred Responsibilities This role is the trusted advisor and Product Owner for Revenue Accounting, owning the SAP S/4HANA RAR workstream from requirements and design through testing, decisions, and deploymentLead global Revenue Accounting solutions that strengthen compliance and support Moody’s finance transformation prioritiesDeliver SAP S/4HANA RAR implementations, enhancements, and production support across global business processesOwn the Revenue Accounting workstream, drive solution decisions, and ensure progress from discovery through deploymentLead workshops to shape requirements, challenge assumptions, raise risks and decisions, and align Finance, Technology, Operations, Sales, and delivery partnersTranslate business needs into clear requirements, functional designs, and scalable CCM and OCM solutionsDesign and configure revenue recognition processes, including performance obligations, SSP allocation, contract changes, event-based processing, posting, reconciliation, and close activitiesLead testing, defects, cutover, hypercare, and support; drive accountability for priorities, risks, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder follow-throughAbout the Team Our Business Systems Team acts as Product Owner for finance process areas, partnering with Finance, Technology, and delivery teams to own solution changes from requirements through deployment and post-go-live support.Own the product backlog, turning strategic priorities into requirements, functional designs, and Jira epicsDrive solution changes by speaking up, raising risks and decisions early, maintaining traceability, and confirming deployment readinessPartner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Technology, and delivery stakeholders while managing priorities, risks, dependencies, and decisionsBy joining our team as part of Business Services Team, you will drive business analysis and functional design across global finance transformation initiatives — collaborating with finance stakeholders and TSG to deliver technology-enabled change that matters.Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
