System Network Administrator with Database Experience

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior System/Network Administrator with

database experience to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization

of IT systems. This role is responsible for managing daily operations across

client/server, storage, network, and mobile environments, while providing Tier 1

and Tier 2 support to diagnose and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will

configure and maintain UNIX and Windows systems, ensuring system integrity, and

enhance performance reliability across the infrastructure.

The Systems/Network Administrator shall possess the following qualifications:

* Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar

scope, type, and complexity

* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or

university

* Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a

bachelor’s degree

* TS/SCI with poly

The Level 2 System/Network Administrator shall possess the following

capabilities:

* Experience with MIM and Majestic is a plus

* Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT

systems

* Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems

* Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems

* Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and

problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices,

mobile devices, etc.

* Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification,

diagnosis and resolution

* Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency

management and internal customers

* Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system

capacity analysis and planning

* Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains

involved in the resolution process

* Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems

* Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating

systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain

integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing

operating systems enhancements to

* Build, configure, monitor and maintain virtual environments

* Build, configure, monitor and maintain storage environments

* Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal

customers for escalated tickets.

Prefered Database Experience

* Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of database, Administer,

maintain, and Implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and

integrity of the database(s)

* Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes

* Establish and maintain database user accounts

* Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index

maintenance, and monitoring of data

* Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of

the database(s)

* Evaluate requirements and recommends available DBMS products

* Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level

of system performance and availability

* Provide server administration with a variety of database products that

include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE
