Title: Product Manager
Location: 101 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142
Duties: Define and manage the product roadmap for the Audible data system
products, including sprint backlogs, grooming, planning, and execution. Set and
continuously manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders including senior
leadership team. Work closely with business groups such as marketing, content,
engineering, finance, design, program management, legal and other internal teams
to deliver products globally. Lead world-class engineers, QA, UX designers, and
other partner stakeholders, providing guidance and direction to achieve the
product vision for customer-centric product launches and improvements. Create
and maintain sequencing of projects, prioritization, and trade-offs vis-à-vis
short-term and longer-term strategic goals. Use hard data and metrics to back up
assumptions and develop business cases. Drive the implementation of
recommendations derived from analysis into product features. Position reports
into Cambridge, MA office; however, telecommuting may also be allowed.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
- Engineering Management, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus two
- (2) years of experience as a Product Manager or a related occupation involving
- experience in digital product management. Experience may be gained concurrently
- and must include:
- Two (2) years in each of the following:
- - Working on consumer, creator, or business-facing products in the media space,
- on features similar to search, personalization, generative AI, ONIX, or
- publishing
- - Applying understanding of software development processes or engineering
- principles
- - Working with engineering teams on technical decisions
- - Applying knowledge of system design, architecture, or technical tradeoffs
- - Utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements and product decisions
- - Utilizing proficiency with analytics tools, A/B testing, and conversion funnel
- analysis
- - Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- - Utilizing SQL and similar statistical analysis tools.
- One (1) year in each of the following:
- - Partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve business results across
- teams with differing goals
- - Discussing technical concepts, scheduling trade-offs, or championing new ideas
- with technical and non-technical employees
- - Data analysis using Tableau.
- Salary: $146,349 - 184,100/year. Dependent on the position offered, equity,
- sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a
- total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial,

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
