Our vision at Alexa Connections is to build the most trusted AI assistant that
helps our customers gets things done and creates moments of joy. We build
delightful Communication Experiences for connecting within customers household
(Announcements, Drop-In's), with their community (Video Calling, Phone Number
calling, Emailing, Texting, Sharing) and with AI for improved productivity
(Calendar/Task extraction). We also build real time, bi-directional,
interactive, multi-modal AI primitives that help serve customers across Amazon
portfolio of devices that include Alexa, FireTV, Ring etc. Generative AI is
deeply embedded in our product development life cycle across all our experiences
and primitives.
If you’re passionate about building magical experiences for customers, while
solving complex technical problems for zero to one category defining devices,
then this role is for you. You will operate at the intersection of large
language models, real time communications, voice and graphical user interfaces,
and mixed reality to deliver delightful experiences for end customers.
Key job responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager - Technical in Alexa Connections, you will be
responsible for building communications, real time AI and agentic experiences,
where Alexa acts as an agent to get things done for customers. This role is
cross-functional — you will work closely with engineering, science, design,
business development, legal, operations, finance and executive teams to bring
features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon. A
successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a
matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and
capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers
love.
As a product leader, you will:
* Own and define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap, manage tradeoffs and
dependencies with key stakeholders, and execute on deliverables
* Work closely with the engineering, design, and science teams to develop an
offering that will delight customers
* Drive product launches including working with business development, Alexa
partner teams, public relations team, executives in other companies, and other
product management team members
* Monitor the business and refine the roadmap
About the team
Alexa Connections is a highly distributed team across six Amazon approved sites.
We have industry experts in real time communications, computer vision, media
processing, consumer facing UX. We imbibe Amazon's Leadership Principles, hold
each other accountable and have lots of fun while building a product billions of

Qualifications
- - 8+ years of product or program
- management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- - Bachelor's degree
- - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- - Experience with end to end product delivery
- - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions
- and strategy related to a product
- - Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and
- effectively influence across cross-functional teams

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
