Akamai's Cloud Compute Product Management organization oversees the compute
instances, hypervisors, and server profiles that power our global distributed
cloud. By optimizing our core capabilities, the team enables secure, highly
performant, and cost-effective infrastructure that drives trust and supports
future cloud growth.

As a Product Manager for our Cloud Storage services, you will play a pivotal
role in achieving our mission of making digital experiences fast, intelligent
and secure.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Gathering, documenting, and communicating business and technical requirements
for Akamai NetStorage and Akamai Object Storage products.
* Defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap and delivering against
the product plan.
* Fostering connections with cross-functional teams, such as sales and
marketing, to promote products and gather feedback for ongoing success.
* Analyzing operational metrics and trends to manage and maximize product KPIs,
revenue and profitability, building business cases and margin analysis.
* Working with Marketing, Sales, Support, and other teams to develop and
execute on Go to Market strategies.
* Synthesizing feedback and prioritizing development.

To be successful in this role you will:
* Have 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science or related field.
* Have experience in cloud technologies in a product management setting.
* Possess expertise in leading teams within a complex, cross-functional
environment; be self-motivated and possess outstanding communication skills.
* Have experience scaling products from launch to widespread adoption;
demonstrate analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
* Demonstrate passion for customer-centric and collaborative problem-solving;
understand markets and global customer bases.
* Possess a commitment to prioritizing the collective success of the team over
individual achievements.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based
candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 -
$215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including,
but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and
location.
Compensation
for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation
package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of
annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan
(ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K
savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family
friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program
