User Needs: The main users will be homeowners, tenants, or property managers seeking help with home repairs and enhancements. They require a fast, reliable, and easy way to locate a qualified handyman. The current challenge is that it can be difficult to hire a handyman without knowing their reliability and the quality of their work. Product Definition: I propose introducing a feature in the Facebook app called 'Facebook Handyman Finder'. This tool will enable users to discover local handymen whose profiles include ratings, reviews, areas of expertise, and their availability for scheduling appointments. User Journey: Users will find the 'Facebook Handyman Finder' in the Explore section of the app, where they can apply relevant filters such as location and type of service needed, and then view a list of available handymen. Appointments can be booked directly through the handyman's profile. KPIs: Key performance indicators could include the number of bookings made for handymen, user interaction with the feature, levels of customer satisfaction, and frequency of repeat usage. Feasibility: Given Meta's extensive user base, it is feasible to attract both those seeking services and the service providers. However, challenges related to quality control may arise. This can be addressed by implementing rigorous registration processes for handymen, supported by customer reviews and ratings.
