My approach to testing mobile phones consists of several steps. First, I assess the fundamental features, including powering the device on and off, battery performance, signal strength, making calls, and sending messages. Next, I examine the pre-installed mobile applications to verify they function correctly. During this phase, I conduct stress tests to confirm the device operates smoothly under various conditions with multiple applications running at once. Following this, I carry out a hardware assessment, evaluating the CPU performance, camera quality, display, buttons, and sensors. To document any issues, I utilize a bug tracking tool where all discrepancies are recorded along with corresponding screenshots. Bugs are prioritized according to their severity, with critical issues that affect functionality categorized as high priority for developers to address. I also recognize the significance of collaboration in this role. Maintaining regular communication with designers, developers, or manufacturers is essential to ensure that all tests reflect their contributions and that any identified issues can be effectively resolved.
