In my previous position as a software developer, I often faced frequent interruptions due to urgent issues, such as critical bugs that required immediate attention. To manage this effectively, I adopted a task prioritization approach where I assessed the urgency of the interruption in relation to my ongoing task. If the interruption was both urgent and critical, I would pause my current work to address it. Otherwise, I would provide an estimated time for when I would handle it. Additionally, I utilized project management tools to monitor my progress and tasks, which helped me stay focused on my responsibilities despite the disruptions.
