In today's society, mental wellness is a significant issue. With the constant use of technology and the fast-paced nature of our lives, individuals often find themselves with few resources to support their mental health. The negative effects of mental health problems are evident across all age groups and socio-economic backgrounds, highlighting its relevance and urgency. Adhering to the principles of design thinking, I would engage with users through interviews and surveys to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and specific difficulties related to mental health. Once the data is collected, I would articulate the problem, such as, "There is a need for an engaging, accessible, and effective method to manage stress and enhance mental wellness." During the ideation phase, I would explore a range of potential solutions, including the creation of a mobile app that utilizes AI to deliver personalized mindfulness practices and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to foster mental wellness. In the prototyping phase, my team and I would develop a minimum viable product (MVP) of the app, which would include daily exercises, relaxation methods, and progress tracking, all while ensuring that the user interface is simple, streamlined, and easy to navigate. Finally, we would test the prototype with a diverse group of users, collect their feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the app. This iterative approach guarantees a practical and user-friendly solution to a significant issue.
