Looking back, I wish I had requested feedback more frequently during my time at XYZ Company. Initially, I made the novice error of not actively seeking feedback, assuming that silence indicated everything was fine. However, I came to understand that actively pursuing feedback is essential for ongoing improvement and skill enhancement. Once I began to regularly ask for feedback, I not only saw a significant boost in my performance, but it also fostered more open and supportive communication with my colleagues and supervisors. Although I didn’t start this practice sooner, I’m pleased that I eventually recognized its importance and have integrated it into my professional routine.
