About the role
What will you do at Yammer?
Own the vision and multi-release strategy for Copilot extensibility — connectors (out-of-the-box, custom, and partner/ISV), skills and agent capabilities, and the EVAL systems that measure and safeguard quality — and align it to company-level AI and M365 goals. Define the platform and developer experience that lets partners and ISVs onboard, register, and ship extensions without friction, ensuring governance and catalog changes protect rather than disrupt the partner ecosystem.
Set the quality bar for grounded AI: drive the EVAL strategy that closes the gap between golden-set benchmarks and real in-market coverage, and turn evaluation signal into a roadmap for retrieval, relevance, and reliability. Translate customer perspectives, enterprise needs, and business goals into experiences that developers and admins love and that thread intelligence throughout — from authentication and data governance to end-user value.
Own feature specs, delivery of features into production, business analysis, and adoption plans across a cross-functional design and engineering team. Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development. OR equivalent experience.
These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 10+ years of enterprise product and/or cloud service development experience as a PM with a proven track record of shipping and delivery. Proven experience in multiple software product development methodologies. Effective cross-group collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results in cross-functional teams.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field required; MBA is highly desired. Proven track record of seizing ambiguous opportunities, driving clarity into them, and creating impactful results that benefit the company through deeply involved interactions and discussion. Deep understanding of AI technologies such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, machine learning, and natural language processing — and how to apply them to grounding, extensibility, and evaluation.
Solid intuition for platform and API product management: developer experience, ecosystem/partner strategy, and the tradeoffs of building for extensibility at scale. Leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration, with the ability to build solid partnerships across teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an attention to detail; solid executive presentation skills.
A good understanding of how software is built and how an engineering product cycle works. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-driven environment with a passion to delight customers.
