WME is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and support the

infrastructure platforms that power our technology ecosystem. This role will

partner closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to improve

reliability, streamline delivery processes, and enhance operational efficiency

across cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate brings experience with

cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices.

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, improving developer experiences,

and building scalable solutions that enable teams to move faster while

maintaining security and operational standards. This role reports to WME’s Sr.

Global Director of Infrastructure and Enterprise Solutions based in Beverly

Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Automation & Platform Engineering
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions that improve
  • consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency. Contribute to the
  • development of reusable infrastructure patterns, self-service capabilities, and
  • platform best practices that support engineering teams across the organization.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) Help develop and maintain
  • Infrastructure as Code standards, reusable modules, deployment patterns, and
  • environment strategies using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar technologies.
  • Support best practices around code quality, testing, documentation, and
  • infrastructure lifecycle management. CI/CD Platform & Automation Build and
  • enhance CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable software and infrastructure
  • delivery. Partner with engineering teams to improve automation workflows,
  • deployment processes, release management practices, and operational efficiency.
  • Support guardrails that promote secure, repeatable, and auditable delivery.
  • DevSecOps & Security Controls Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
  • to incorporate security best practices into platform and deployment workflows.
  • Support initiatives related to secrets management, policy-as-code,
  • infrastructure security scanning, access controls, and compliance requirements
  • aligned to organizational standards. Operations, Reliability & Observability
  • Support operational excellence initiatives focused on reliability, automation,
  • and observability. Contribute to monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting,
  • incident response, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance platform
  • stability and reduce operational overhead. Documentation & Enablement Create and
  • maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, implementation guides,
  • and platform standards. Help drive adoption of platform capabilities through
  • knowledge sharing, training, and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership through
  • collaboration, documentation, and best practices. Partner with infrastructure,
  • security, and application teams to evaluate solutions, improve processes, and
  • support the evolution of WME’s infrastructure platform.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
  • of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related
  • technical roles, including experience leading technical initiatives or driving
  • delivery across cross-functional teams Strong hands-on experience with Terraform
  • and/or OpenTofu in production environments, including reusable modules, state
  • management, and environment strategy Experience building and supporting CI/CD
  • automation using GitHub Actions, Spacelift, or similar tooling Demonstrated
  • ability to establish engineering standards, documentation, and operational best
  • practices Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools, including secrets
  • management, policy-as-code, infrastructure security scanning, least-privilege
  • access, and auditability concepts Experience supporting production systems,
  • observability platforms, and operational reliability initiatives Familiarity
  • with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments, preferably
  • Microsoft Azure Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability
  • to partner effectively across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams
  • Self-directed, curious, and passionate about solving complex technical
  • challenges Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code
  • at scale across multiple environments Familiarity with security and compliance
  • frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, or similar standards Experience
  • implementing automation that improves operational efficiency and developer
  • experience Exposure to cloud modernization, platform engineering, or
  • infrastructure transformation initiatives Per local requirements and in the

  • hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of
  • factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related
  • qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide

  • and other paid time off, and additional offerings. Hiring Rate Minimum: $120,000
  • annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary
