WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an IT Cloud Server & Storage Platform Engineer in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pewaukee, Wisconsin, or Green Bay, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the office.

This position is part of a job family (Infrastructure Consultant and Senior Infrastructure Consultant) where experience will be the determining factor.

The Infrastructure Consultant for the Cloud Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure for the corporation. The Cloud Platform Engineer carries both operational and strategic responsibilities. The Cloud Platform Engineer collaborates with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services.Job Responsibilities

Provision virtual machines and storage based resources in the cloud

Provision backup and patch management of server based resources in the cloud

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud based resources

Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules

Collaborate with on-premise infrastructure teams to align infrastructure standards

Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for cloud infrastructure

Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
  • 2+ years of Azure and/or AWS development experience
  • Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Terraform IaC, FinOps, CI/CD Pipelines, or CNAPP experience
  • Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, AWS EC2 instances, AWS Storage, or AWS Backup experience
  • Production support experience with large enterprise applications
  • End Date: 09/30/2026
  • Pay Range Minimum: $78,702.26
  • Pay Range Maximum: $135,761.08
  • The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
