Join us.</p><p> </p><br><p><strong>Your Impact: </strong></p><p>As OpenText accelerates its AI transformation, we are investing in Ireland as a strategic R&D center for advanced AI engineering, applied AI platforms, sovereign cloud, cybersecurity, and trusted enterprise innovation.</p><p>We’re looking to welcome a Principal AI Developer, who will be a senior technical leader responsible for designing and delivering scalable, production-grade AI systems with strong ownership of quality and performance.</p><p>This role is central to OpenText’s AI transformation and to the growth of OpenText’s Ireland R&D capability.

You’ll help build the next generation of sovereign AI for Europe and play a founding role in standing up OpenText’s EMEA Centre of Excellence for Agentic AI & Sovereign Cloud, working at the forefront of multi-agent AI orchestration in regulated environments.</p><p>You’ll own delivery end-to-end and work across the full AI stack rather than within a siloed team, giving you a direct line to enterprise-scale impact.

Just as importantly, this is real ownership of foundational IP, not just services: you’ll contribute to core IP in agentic AI, data sovereignty, and cybersecurity, helping shape the technology rather than simply deploying existing tools.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>You’re great at: </strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Designing and building AI services, orchestration layers, and APIs​</li><li>Leading technical design and architecture decisions​</li><li>Ensuring systems are scalable, observable, and cost-efficient​</li><li>Owning production readiness: monitoring, logging, incident response​</li><li>Mentoring junior engineers and enforce engineering standards​</li><li>Implementing LLMOps/MLOps practices (CI/CD, versioning, evaluation)​</li><li>Optimizing systems for latency, throughput, and cost</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What you need to succeed: </strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>6-8 years of experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms​</li><li>Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, APIs, and production deployment​</li><li>Experience with vector DBs, retrieval systems, or LLM frameworks​</li><li>Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system design skills​</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical discipline.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>One Last Thing: </strong></p><p>OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
