The Product Manager will lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and platform delivery for key areas of the WealthPlus workplace benefits and financial wellness ecosystem. This role will own the definition, prioritization, and delivery of product capabilities that support plan and account setup, participant and member experiences, servicing workflows, reporting, integrations, and digital user experiences.

This role is ideal for an experienced product leader who understands how to translate complex financial services, benefits, and operational requirements into scalable platform functionality. The Product Manager will partner closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Client Success teams to ensure WealthPlus delivers intuitive, reliable, and compliant experiences across all accountholders, service providers and strategic partners.

Experience in retirement, recordkeeping, wealth technology, or workplace benefits is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and delivery for assigned WealthPlus platform capabilities across workplace benefits, financial wellness, retirement, wealth, and health solutions.
• Define and prioritize product features that support plan/account setup, eligibility, contributions and funding, servicing workflows, transactions, reporting, integrations, and digital user experiences.
• Partner with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Client Success to translate business, regulatory, and operational needs into scalable platform functionality.
• Own the related product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and release scope.
• Lead discovery, grooming, specification reviews, demos, UAT support, and release readiness activities.
• Monitor client feedback, market trends, operational metrics, and product performance to inform roadmap priorities and continuous improvement.
• Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, platform strategy, or technology delivery within fintech, financial services, wealth management, retirement, health benefits, workplace benefits, benefits administration, recordkeeping, or enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, release scope, and cross-functional delivery in an agile or hybrid environment.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with engineering, QA, operations, compliance, sales, client service, implementation, and executive stakeholders.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of fintech, workplace benefits, wealth management, retirement plans, health benefits, benefits administration, recordkeeping, or financial services operations.
• Ability to understand workflows, APIs, data models, integrations, business rules, permissions, and system logic.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex platform concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable using product, documentation, reporting, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
• Preferred:
• Experience building or modernizing a fintech, workplace benefits, retirement, wealth, HSA/health benefits, or employee benefits technology.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting financial services, retirement, health benefits, savings accounts, data privacy, servicing, disclosures, and reporting.
• Experience with custodial integrations, payroll feeds, account transfers, investment workflows, claims/reimbursement workflows, compliance reporting, or related partner integrations.
• Familiarity with API-first platforms, event-driven architecture, configurable rules engines, data mapping, or platform integrations.
• Experience supporting service providers and strategic partners across a multi-stakeholder platform model.

Benefits

Competitive base salary: $145,000 - $160,000- commensurate with experience and geographic market.
