Your primary focus will be on fostering positive relationships among Thrive Market employees while overseeing a spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and payroll management.</p><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h2><ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws through periodic audits.</li><li>Manage benefits administration, including reviewing benefits with employees and processing enrollments, cancellations, or changes.</li><li>Conduct detailed timecard reviews to ensure accurate payroll processing.</li><li>Oversee leave of absence processes.</li><li>Participate in recruitment efforts and coordinate with local temporary staffing agencies, as well as conduct exit interviews.</li><li>Maintain HRIS records, employee roster, and compile necessary reports.</li><li>Investigate employee relations claims and facilitate conflict resolution.</li><li>Engage in employee appreciation events, volunteering, and cultural activities to promote employee engagement.</li><li>Propose new approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency of HR services.</li><li>Handle unemployment notices, represent the company for local unemployment claims, and manage workers' compensation case files.</li><li>Assist in preparing and facilitating change management efforts.</li><li>Assist in preparing and facilitating the roll out of new programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with management to foster a positive work environment that values diverse talents and abilities.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2><ul><li>Associate or bachelor's degree.</li><li>4+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of basic practices and principles.</li><li>Experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing, particularly with multiple shifts and a large hourly population.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of providing honest, direct feedback.</li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and exercise good judgment in stressful situations.</li><li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven, and open to continuous improvement and change.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, HRIS, and payroll systems.</li><li>Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required.</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">BELONG TO A BETTER COMPANY</span></h2><ul><li>Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability)</li><li>Competitive salary (DOE) + equity</li><li>401k plan</li><li>6 Observed Holidays</li><li>Flexible Paid Time Off</li><li>Free Thrive Market membership with exclusive employee discount</li><li>Coverage for Life Coaching &amp; Therapy Sessions on our holistic mental health and well-being platform</li></ul><p><br>We're a community of more than 1 Million + members who are united by a singular belief: It should be easy to find better products, support better brands, make better choices, and build a better world in the process.<br><br>At Thrive Market, we believe in building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic culture.
