Director of Business Operations, NorCal

We are looking for a Director of Business Operations with 7–12 years of experience to own and scale Indigo's Northern California region end-to-end. This is a true GM seat — you'll inherit a ~$10M ARR market with room to grow to $70M+, manage a team of 10+ (and growing), and own the P&L, strategy, and day-to-day operations for ~40 physician relationships across the region. What will you be doing?

Own the NorCal P&L — drive regional growth, physician satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all clinic sites Manage and grow a team of 10+ (onboarding specialists, on-site day specialists, and hourly staff), with 3–6 additional hires planned in the next six months Visit physician practices and clinic sites weekly — ensure facilities are stocked, operational, and delivering a great experience Build and deepen physician relationships to maintain zero churn and fuel referral-driven growth Partner with product and engineering to identify automation opportunities and implement AI-native workflows without sacrificing quality Key Requirements P&L ownership experience for a region or business unit — must have directly owned results, not just influenced them Prior management experience — this cannot be a first-time manager role; you'll inherit 10+ direct reports on day one Consulting background (MBB strongly preferred) with a transition into hands-on operating roles at high-growth startups or marketplaces Degree from a top-tier university; bulk of career experience must be US-based Comfortable being boots-on-the-ground — 70% hands-on execution early on, traveling to clinic sites, and doing whatever it takes at a 30-person company
