What will you do at Stylitics?
About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with a solid command of Google Cloud Platform to help build and operate the infrastructure that powers Stylitics. This is a hands-on role on a small infrastructure team: you will implement, automate, and maintain our GCP environment, working from architecture and standards set alongside senior engineers, and grow your scope over time as you take on more of the platform.
You will partner with engineering, security, and finance to keep our platform scalable, secure, cost-efficient, and reliable.
What You Will Do
- Support the GCP migration by executing migration tasks and moving workloads under an agreed target architecture.
- Implement, maintain, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance, reliability, and observability.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, following established modules and patterns.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads using GKE, Cloud Run, Docker, and Helm.
- Monitor cloud cost, surface anomalies, and help implement optimizations across compute, data, and AI services.
- Work hands-on with cloud-native data and AI services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Help implement infrastructure security and governance controls, including IAM and least-privilege access.
- Support cloud networking configuration (VPCs, subnets, DNS, and load balancing).
- Write clear documentation and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams.
- Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or a related engineering role.
- Solid hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience across core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring and Logging).
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / GKE, Docker, and Helm.
- Working understanding of GCP networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, DNS, and load balancing).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and IAM.
- Awareness of cloud cost drivers and a habit of building cost-consciously.
- Solid Linux and scripting fundamentals (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow toward senior-level ownership.
- Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Google Cloud Associate or Professional certification.
- Exposure to ML/AI infrastructure (e.g., Vertex AI).
- Experience with BigQuery.
- Exposure to SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience with cloud migrations.
- Experience working in, or with, retail or e-commerce environments.
- Salary
