Our New Teammate

You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting our clients networks. You will work in a collaborative environment to provide cutting edge solutions and customer service.

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

* 85% of time on Objective 1: Completing customer projects and solutions

* 10% of time on Objective 2: Prioritization, planning, and scheduling

* 5% of time on Objective 3: Professional growth and development

Job Responsibilities - What to Expect

* Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and WAN network infrastructure.

* Serve as technical escalation point.

* Create and maintain technical and process documentation.

* Troubleshoot infrastructure related hardware or network connectivity issues.

* Perform testing and validation of new hardware and code.

* Lead the design, test, and implementation of network proposals.

* Provide consultation support to internal and external partners for network infrastructure design and enhancements.

Your Knowledge & Expertise

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering related field (Preferred)

* 10 years of experience in a computer related field.

* JNCIP or CCNP (Required)

* JNCIE or CCIE (Service Provider Preferred)

* ITIL 4 Foundation (Preferred)

* Experience in production network environments.

* Experience in the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba switches, routers, and wireless access points.

* Experience with the design, troubleshooting and configuration of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree.

* Experience with leading the design and delivery of network projects.

* Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

* Experience with the creation and maintenance of documentation such as operating procedures and network diagrams.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong time, priority, and task management skills.

* Familiarity with enterprise and user networks a plus.

* Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Python and Ansible experience a plus.

* Previous experience with Metro Ethernet networks and infrastructure a plus.
