This opportunity is in the Information Technology department

Role

Description

As an AI Platform Engineer III, you will play a key role in administering,

supporting, governing, and continuously improving Safety National’s enterprise

Artificial Intelligence platforms and services. You will serve as a primary

technical resource for approved AI technologies, helping ensure these rapidly

evolving platforms are secure, scalable, well-governed, cost-effective, and

aligned with business objectives.

In this role, you will

  • administer enterprise AI platforms and services such as
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, ChatGPT Enterprise,
  • Codex, Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, and future approved technologies. You
  • will configure platform settings, security controls, user access, licensing,
  • environments, connectors, integrations, and governance controls while serving as
  • a subject matter expert for one or more AI platforms.
  • You will collaborate across Information Security, IT Leadership, Solution
  • Architecture, Data & AI Governance, Software Engineering, Learning &
  • Development, and other business teams to implement effective security, privacy,
  • compliance, monitoring, and operational controls. You will also help shape AI
  • platform adoption and future-state capabilities by evaluating new technologies,
  • supporting integrations, monitoring platform health and adoption, analyzing
  • utilization and costs, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Your work will extend beyond day-to-day platform administration. You will lead
  • investigations and root cause analysis for complex platform issues, develop
  • standards, procedures, documentation, and runbooks, and manage technical
  • projects and initiatives to successful completion. You will also provide
  • guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with Learning &
  • Development and the AI Champions community to encourage effective adoption and
  • responsible use of enterprise AI capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information
  • Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Required

Qualifications

  • * 3 or more years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • * Excellent written, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication
  • skills.
  • * Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and manage
  • multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • * Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, customer-focused, and
  • detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and operational
  • excellence.
  • * Advanced understanding of enterprise technology platforms, cloud services,
  • security principles, software integrations, and AI technologies.
  • * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage metrics,
  • identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • * Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for
  • work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the
  • future
  • * This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3
  • days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd.
  • Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests
  • and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all
  • candidates selected to interview.

Preferred Qualifications

  • * 6 or more years of experience in Information Technology, including 3 or more
  • years focused on enterprise platform administration, cloud services,
  • collaboration technologies, AI platforms, developer productivity platforms,
  • or digital workplace technologies.
  • * Five or more approved certifications within applicable technology
  • disciplines.
  • * Experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio,
  • Azure AI Foundry, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, GitHub Copilot,
  • AI-assisted software development platforms, Microsoft 365, or Azure services.
  • * Experience with identity and access management, role-based access controls,
  • SaaS administration, cloud services, and enterprise security practices.
  • * Experience supporting cross-functional technology initiatives involving
  • Security, Architecture, Data Governance, Software Engineering, and business
  • stakeholders.
  • * Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, agent
  • technologies, enterprise AI adoption, and AI-related risk management
  • concepts.

  • technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or
  • alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and
  • procedures.

  • Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide

  • package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $101,500 to
  • $131,000.

for the successful candidate will consider the

candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies,

experience and geographic location.
