Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our core software platform. This role will be part of a wider development team and will report directly to the Platform Development Lead. The ideal candidate is a quality-focused engineer with strong experience in test automation, modern QA practices, and collaboration within agile development teams.

Description
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for our core platform
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and platform engineers to ensure quality is built into every stage of development
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
Advocate for best practices in software quality assurance across the organization
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and quality gates
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
7+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering
Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Familiarity with API testing (REST, GraphQL) and performance/load testing tools
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to leverage AI-driven testing tools and agentic workflows to enhance automation, coverage, and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation
- Prior experience working in agile development teams and contributing to CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with testing distributed systems or microservices architectures
- Knowledge of performance engineering and security testing
- Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring practices
