Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Gdynia, Gdańsk (preferred) or Warsaw, Łódź (Hybrid - 25% remote)

Rate: Up to 170 PLN/h net

Contract Type: B2B agreement (Contracting party: Optiveum)

About the Project

For our Client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will be joining a project focused on building a new API Management platform to enable fast-to-market integrations within the bank and with external partners.

The team will also be building a new Portal for the API catalogue, which will require infrastructure setup, container deployment, Kubernetes management, and robust pipeline creation.

Your Responsibilities

Automating the provisioning of infrastructure (such as EKS) for API gateways using Terraform.

Setting up and improving monitoring, logging, and metrics systems.

Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to update APIs and configuration changes.

Managing container deployments and Kubernetes environments.

Building and maintaining the environment for the Kong Gateway project, including infrastructure provisioning and migration.

Requirements

Experience level: Senior
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with Terraform and AWS.
Solid knowledge of Ansible.
Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus / Victoria Metrics (or similar), and Splunk.
Fluent English is required.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Kong Gateway or other API gateway implementations.
