About the role
What will you do at Ohm?
We're recruiting for a Chief of Staff who is highly driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to join us in-person in San Francisco to help build and scale the company. This could be a great role for someone highly ambitious who wants to run their own company in the future. You'll work directly with the CEO and you'll own end-to-end execution on whatever needs to happen, from hiring to new initiatives and day-to-day operations.
You'll often make the call on what happens and how it gets done.
What you'll do Take on whatever's breaking, slowing us down, or the bottleneck to our growth Execute new initiatives and one-off projects for growth, sales, marketing, and partnerships Hiring + sourcing the best candidates, running interviews/work trials, onboarding new hires Talk to existing and prospective customers - run inquires, security questionnaires, demos Run office operations and handle admin work (expenses, vendor management, all the stuff that needs to get done) Build and automate processes and systems as we scale Operational and keeping-the-lights-on tasks Who you are Technical background: STEM degree or equivalent preferred, and you feel comfortable working in a highly technical environment with engineers and scientists Driven in pursuing your goals: you’re down to make cold calls, put out content, aggressively pursue whatever is needed to help the company grow Autonomous: you make most decisions yourself, don't wait for permission, and move fast Strong generalist: you want to get your reps across different disciplines from recruiting to content creation to operations.
No task is beneath you: you'll chase top candidates, make cold calls, generate marketing content and take pride in optimizing routine work Love startups: you want the speed, the ownership, the opportunity to build things from scratch Organized: you can maintain context and manage a wide breadth of tasks This is a high-leverage role for someone who wants to become a world-class operator. You'll get your reps executing across sales, recruiting, marketing, operations, customer success, and more.
As we grow, so will the responsibilities and opportunities for this role.
