You will hold direct responsibility for protecting our employees, offices, travelers, and corporate events. Operating as a critical regional leader, you will design and implement comprehensive safety protocols, manage external vendor relationships, and act as the definitive security voice during crisis response. This role ensures that our physical environments reflect our commitment to the well-being of every individual at Nutanix.
About the Team
You will join the Global Physical Security and Safety organization, operating within the G&A HR Total Rewards department, reporting directly to Joseph Brown. This team is the foundational layer of employee protection, partnering across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to maintain a unified, world-class security posture. We operate in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where strategic planning meets rapid operational execution.

Your Role Develop and maintain physical security protocols, access control standards, and emergency preparedness strategies for all APAC locations, travelers, and events. Oversee the APAC physical security teams, conducting site risk assessments, managing incident responses, and directing local investigations.
Manage comprehensive vendor relationships for regional security manpower and systems, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements and performance metrics. Serve as the primary Physical Security and Safety Leader on the regional Crisis Management team, maintaining vital ties with local, state, and federal law enforcement. Collaborate with Real Estate & Workplace personnel to integrate advanced physical security designs into new and existing office spaces.
What You Will Bring A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in physical security and safety roles. 5+ years minimum experience managing regional security operations within the APAC market. Direct experience implementing physical security systems (access control, CCTV) and managing contract security vendor performance. Proven capability to serve as a crisis management leader, including developing emergency response plans and delivering life safety training.
An established professional network of physical security and law enforcement contacts. Work Arrangement Subject to business requirements, this role may be determined to be remote or in a hybrid capacity. If the selected candidate resides within 50 miles of a Nutanix office requiring in-office presence (specifically in San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Vancouver, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo), it will require working onsite a minimum of three days per week.
