We are currently seeking a AWS Data & AI Platform Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US). We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to build and operate secure, scalable AI platforms on AWS for regulated financial services environments. This role focuses on enabling generative AI and advanced analytics use cases while meeting high standards for security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support AI platforms on AWS using Amazon Bedrock for generative AI and model integrationDevelop and operate containerized AI services on Amazon EKS, supporting Python‑based inference and orchestration workloadsBuild serverless AI workflows using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event‑driven architecturesImplement secure cloud networking and access controls using VPC, IAM, private endpoints, and service networkingIntegrate data services (S3, DynamoDB, messaging/streaming) to support AI pipelines and RAG‑style architecturesEstablish CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and operational controls aligned to enterprise and regulatory standardsPartner with security, architecture, and risk teams to ensure compliance with financial services requirements
• Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience building cloud platforms on AWSHands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and core AWS networkingStrong Python development experience for APIs, AI services, or automationExperience designing secure, highly available, and scalable systemsFamiliarity with regulated environments (financial services, banking, insurance, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI/ML or generative AI platforms in productionKnowledge of data security, model governance, auditability, and access controlsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and production operations in enterprise environmentsAbout NTT DATA
