What will you do at North Point Technology, LLC?
North Point Technology is looking to hire a Test Engineer to support a mission-critical software capability that enables operational success through reliable, high-quality software solutions. This role is embedded within a high-performing Agile engineering team focused on enterprise application quality. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination is required.
Responsibilities
- The Test Engineer will lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for web-based and enterprise applications. This includes developing and maintaining both automated and manual test cases, performing functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing, and identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects through resolution. The engineer will integrate automated testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines and partner closely with software developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Required Skills/Experience:
- Software testing or quality engineering across the software development lifecycle for enterprise applications
- Development of automated test solutions
- Agile methodologies and CI/CD process experience
- Functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing methodologies
- Defect identification, documentation, prioritization, and tracking
- Integration of automated testing into DevSecOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Automated testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
- Scripting languages including JavaScript or Python
- API, UI, database, and performance testing
- Enterprise applications and large-scale systems
- Cloud-native applications and containerized environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or Master's degree in a related field
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination
- US citizenship required per contract
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+ preferred
