The Opportunity
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys
taking ownership of infrastructure end-to-end, and brings a passion for
automation, scalability, and cloud-native design.
You'll co-own our infrastructure and delivery platform alongside our senior
DevOps Engineer. You'll have the autonomy to make big decisions — and the
support of a team that values new perspectives and collaborative innovation.
This role isn't about following a playbook; it's about helping write the next
chapter of ours
🔧 What You’ll Do
* Cloud Infrastructure: Operate and evolve our Azure estate (with some AWS) —
App Service, Functions, Postgres, Static Web Apps, real-time messaging and
search, and the App Insights layer over all of it — plus the VNets, security
groups, and Linux VM scale sets that run our self-hosted build agents.
* Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and extend our Terraform estate across
Azure, AWS, and Cloudflare — peer-reviewed, linted, and safe to change.
* CI/CD Ownership: Own and extend our Azure DevOps pipelines and YAML-based
workflows, including branch policy and policy-as-code.
* Automation: Eliminate manual toil by scripting system provisioning and
operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
* AI & Agentic Tooling: Extend the agent-based tooling running inside our
pipelines, and own the guardrails that make agent-authored changes safe to
merge.
* Multi-Region Operations: Regional deploys, data residency, and multi-region
platform work.
* Observability: Drive cost optimization and performance tuning
while maintaining robust logging and alerting via Azure Monitor and Log
Analytics.
* Disaster Recovery: Own our backup, failover, and high-availability posture —
testing recovery paths, closing gaps, and keeping deployments zero-downtime.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
* Production operations: you've run live environments and kept them healthy —
deploys, incidents, on-call, and debugging systems under real pressure.
* Infrastructure as code in practice: you can navigate a Terraform, Bicep, or
ARM repository, make a scoped change, and understand the blast radius before
applying it.
* Cloud Depth: hands-on experience running production workloads on Azure — App
Service and deployment slots, Azure Functions, Postgres Flexible Server,
Static Web Apps, Storage and queues, Key Vault, and the App Insights / Log
Analytics / Monitor layer — plus enough networking and VM scale set
experience to own build agent infrastructure. Azure preferred; AWS or GCP
considered where the patterns transfer.
* Automation Proficiency: Expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and
managing YAML-based pipelines.
* Platform hygiene: sound instincts on secrets handling, least-privilege
access, and patching.
* Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose complex issues in distributed,
cloud-native systems across both Linux and Windows environments.
* Collaborator: Experience working alongside developers to make their delivery
path faster.
* Agentic development: You've used AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code,
Copilot, Cursor) on real work, with a considered view on reviewing and
verifying what they produce.
🌟 Bonus Points For
* Mobile DevOps: Experience with mobile CI/CD tooling (EAS, Fastlane) and React
Native (Expo) app store deployments.
* Postgres operations at production scale: tuning, storage, backup, and
restore.
* Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with . NET deployments to Azure.
* Identity: Microsoft Entra ID best practices, app registrations, and managed
identities.
* Network Security: Experience managing DNS and edge security (e.g., Cloudflare
WAF and Zero Trust).
🚀 Why You’ll Love It Here
* Autonomy + Impact: You’ll have room to lead, experiment, and drive change.
* Culture of Innovation: We encourage new approaches—like agentic workflows—and
creative problem-solving.
* Collaborative Vibes: No silos—just a smart, humble team solving problems
together.
* Real Disruption: You’ll be part of reshaping the infrastructure behind a bold
product vision.
Benefits
you deserve:
* Highly competitive salaries
* Potential equity interest in a rapidly growing company
* Generous PTO policy and holiday schedule
* 401(k) plan with company matching
* Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance
But wait, there’s more!
* Located at Atlanta Tech Village, the 4th largest tech space in the US
* World-class engineering team with an incredible track record
* Team-building events, outings, and hackathons
* State-of-the-art workspace and hardware
* Strong focus on community service and volunteering
* Free gym, snacks, and beverages
