Role Summary

MetaPhase is supporting a federal client delivering mission-critical programs aligned to regulatory and national priorities. In this role, the Senior Power Platform Engineer will design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools to support business processes and program objectives.

In support of this project, MetaPhase is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to work within Agile teams to architect, build, and optimize applications, automate workflows, and integrate systems using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools. This role requires senior-level technical leadership, solution architecture experience, and strong collaboration with functional and technical stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)

Build and maintain workflows and automations using Power Automate

Configure and manage data within Dataverse

Develop integrations with external systems using connectors, APIs, and custom connectors

Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Power Platform solutions

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Ensure solutions align with governance, security, and best practices

Support deployment of solutions across environments (Dev, Test, Production)

Maintain documentation for applications, workflows, and configurations

What We Need From You (Required)

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB-100) certification

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct support of Government Agencies, with proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions

Relevant experience with solution architecture, enterprise application development, technical leadership, and systems integration

Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred

Advanced experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related services)

Hands-on experience configuring and managing Dataverse or similar enterprise data platforms

Experience building enterprise-scale applications and automations to support business processes

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

What Sets You Apart (Preferred)

Experience supporting USCG, DHS, or other federal agencies

Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards

Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems (APIs, Azure services)

Familiarity with Power Platform governance, environments, and DLP policies

Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or other Microsoft ecosystem tools

Experience with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, etc.)

Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks

Work Location

Washington DC- This position will require onsite support at Client HQ.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; OR

Relevant expert-level technical certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree

Relevant experience includes solution architecture, enterprise application development, technical leadership, and systems integration

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct support of Government Agencies, with proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions. Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB-100) certification required

Clearance Level

U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Compensation

decisions are dependent of the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $150,000 - $180,000
