We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.What you’ll doOwn the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UICollaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing onesBring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scalesCreate and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and powered by elements like TailwindWork closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Mercor’s design philosophy & cultureHelp tutorialize the product experience — ensuring that users know what to do without needing to be toldQualificationsStrong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depthPassion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use4–8 years in product design, ideally at fast-moving startups or high-bar product teamsExperience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraintsProven ability to operate autonomouslyBonus: Experience building AI-driven products or marketplacesAt Mercor, we recognize that exceptional ability comes in all forms, a core philosophy on which we built our platform.
