About the role

Kaimetrix is looking for a Senior-Level Network Engineer to support the design and sustainment of advanced enterprise network solutions. This position focuses on high-performance network infrastructure and the use of modern automation tools to ensure reliability and scalability.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and support enterprise network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and software-defined networking (SDN) components

Develop and manage automated deployment scripts and monitoring dashboards

Integrate advanced capabilities such as IP Address Management (IPAM), load-balancers, proxies, and network taps

Conduct technical evaluations, risk assessments, and support lifecycle sustainment plans

Contribute to architecture development efforts and participate in technical working groups and change advisory boards

Maintain documentation and compliance with DoD or equivalent industry cybersecurity and configuration standards

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of network engineering or related systems engineering experience
  • A Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years of experience; a Bachelor’s for 1 year
  • Certifications:
  • Intermediate or higher-level networking certification (e.g., CCNA, Juniper Junos Associate)
  • Clearance:
  • TS/SCI
