About the Team
The Infrastructure Engineering
team is responsible for designing, building, and operating the core platform
services that underpin Invesco’s global technology environment. This includes
managing a large-scale Unix/Linux estate, ensuring system stability,
performance, and security across a wide range of critical business applications.
About the Role
Oversees technology development solutions through new and
existing applications, systems architecture, applications, data
infrastructure/warehouses and machine learning algorithms and infrastructure
(applications for the firm including both internal and external products).
Includes maintenance and support of applications. Reviews system requirements
and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
Plans, administers and provides technical support of operating system
capabilities. Includes designing, developing and troubleshooting or debugging
software programs for enhancements and new products. Software tools include
operating systems, networks, utilities and web resources.

- the Role: Perform a range of engineering assignments within the infrastructure
- platform, supporting development, maintenance, and optimization of systems and
- services Analyze requirements and solve technical issues by applying established
- guidelines, standards, and best practices Deliver high-quality work
- independently while coordinating effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Support the implementation and improvement of processes, ensuring efficient flow
- of information and execution of tasks Contribute to ongoing platform stability
- and enhancements through continuous improvement and practical application of
- technical knowledge Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to
- support successful delivery of projects and initiatives Requirements of the
- Role: 5-8 Years of Experience Working experience within infrastructure
- engineering or a related technical discipline Solid understanding of core
- engineering principles, methods, and technologies within the job family Ability
- to analyze situations and apply sound judgment to solve straightforward to
- moderately complex problems Demonstrated ability to work independently while
- following established guidelines and policies Strong coordination and
- collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively manage information and
- processes Practical experience applying technical knowledge to deliver reliable
- and efficient solutions Understanding of business drivers and the ability to
- align technical work with organizational goals Bachelor’s degree in computer
- science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
- practical experience) Experience with Linux/Unix (RHEL preferred) Hands-on
- experience with AWS or Azure Experience using Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC
- tools Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk,
