Software Systems Engineer

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Software Systems Engineer to work for our company. Summary: * Client Agency isDefense Logistics Agency * Provides systems engineering support for A2R implementation by contributing to the design, integration, and validation of asset lifecycle systems and data flows.

* Supports development and testing of interfaces, asset data processing, and automation components to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency. * Support analysis and design of A2R-related systems and integrations * Assistin implementing asset lifecycle interfaces and data flows. * Assistin implementing integrations between EBS and external systems (ELMS/DPAS).

* Develop and supportRICE-FW components (interfaces, conversions, reports). * Assistinautomation of capitalization and asset accounting processes. * Performdata validation,reconciliation checks, andintegrationsupport across systems.

* Identifyand resolvedata inconsistenciesas well as interface and processing issues. * SupportDevelopment Integration Testing (DIT),System Integration Testing (SIT), andUser Acceptance Testing (UAT). * Contribute totechnical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and data mapping artifacts.

* Collaborate with functional teams to align solutions with A2R process requirements.

Requirements

• * Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance.(
• Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S.
• Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) * Musteight (8) years of experience in systems engineering or software development.
• * Relevant certificationrequired.
• * Experience with web applications, XML, XSD, and database technologies.
• * Experience withSystem integrations and data processing workflows.
• * Familiarity withOracle EBS or similar ERP systemsexecutingasset or financial data processing concepts.
• * Experience supportingdata validation, reconciliation, and system testing.
• * Experience working in Agile environments.
• * Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• * Exposure toOracle Projects, Fixed Assets, or Inventory modules.
• * Familiarity with asset lifecycle processes (A2R, CIP/WIP).
• * Experience with BI/reporting tools for asset analytics.
• * Basic understanding of audit readiness, valuation, and completeness controls.
