SUPO, where required)Why this role matters: As a Senior Targeting Analyst, you'll own the tasking systems and methodologies behind Wildfire, Earthquake, and Persistent Monitoring change detection.
You'll work through satellite capacity, geometry, and scheduling trade-offs to make scalable, defensible decisions. You'll be the on-shift point of expertise when things go wrong, and you’ll help build the frameworks that move these perils toward automation, and shape how ICEYE monitors change across the planet as new products and methods take form. Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.Your day-to-day responsibilities Contribute to tasking methodology for Wildfire, Earthquake, and Persistent Monitoring Change Detection, helping build the systems that keep it scalableConduct AOI fitness and tasking scenario analysis, assessing suitability, constellation capacity, and optimal modes and geometry for Product requirementsServe as the expert on tasking and monitoring methods, working with Solutions Product teams with input on concepts and programmatic approachesSupport post-event evaluation for non-meteorological events that reach trigger threshold, using RCA to identify root causes and partnering with meteorology, operations, and product teams on fixesContribute in a hands-on way to methodology development for Peril monitoring and tracking, including R&D on new products as requested using ICEYE’s available tooling.
