MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or

equivalent practical experience.

* 8 years of experience in software development.

* 5 years of experience in testing, and launching software products.

* 5 years of experience building and developing infrastructure, distributed

systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or

hardware architecture.

* 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

* Experience with coding in C++.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a technical related

field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

* 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role with leading project

teams and setting technical direction.

* 3 years of experience working in a complex organization involving

cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

* Experience in data modeling.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable and robust

infrastructure for modeling Google's next-generation server platforms.

* Work with other Team Leads (TLs) (L5-8), Product Managers (PMs),

Cross-Functional (XFN) teams, and executives to identify missing modeling,

security, rollout, and reliability related capabilities.

* Address ambiguous and complex technical challenges in representing and

utilizing hardware models, from early NPI concept through to production.

* Drive the long-term technical vision and strategy for the UHM-M ecosystem,

ensuring components are well-designed, maintainable, and meet evolving needs.

* Design and implement mechanisms to ensure the integrity, trustworthiness, and

security of the model data life cycle, contributing to efforts like model

notarization and verification as outlined in plans like go/uhm-m-tca-plan.
