MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
* Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your
resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience designing across multiple platforms, including Android, and
multiple form factors including phone or emerging hardware.
* Experience crafting mobile interfaces, and designing consumer-focused,
app/mobile products, and emerging hardware.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project
deadlines.
* Ability to have a strategic and critical thinking mindset.
* Excellent communication, presentation, people management, and investigative
skills.
* Excellent interaction, visual, prototyping, systems design, and motion
skills.
ABOUT THE JOB:

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most
helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices
and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products,
and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the
best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global
smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Drive all stages of UX design process with the conceptualization, design,
prototype and specification of user interfaces for products.
* Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering and partner teams to drive a
cohesive and delightful user experience for Pixel hardware.
* Produce high-quality designs and patterns for mobile phones and tablets.
* Guide problem solving with teams to develop new solutions, frameworks, and
push and evolve smartphone and tablet experiences further and bring Google
magic to the Pixel ecosystem.
* Collaborate with extensive cross-product area partners including: ID,
Android, Nest, Gemini, and other partners.
