What will you do at Google?

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or

prototyping.

* Experience in application development in any one platform/area (e.g., web,

iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant

websites and applications.

* 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or

design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.

ABOUT THE JOB:

and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an

inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX

team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user

insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft

industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design

partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative

products.

This role is at the center of the most exciting transition in Google’s history:

the shift to agentic AI.

In Privacy, Safety and Security (PSS), you aren't just building another

dashboard, you are building the interfaces, keeping AI safe. You will have the

unique challenge of making security and privacy features more proactive and

actionable. You will have the autonomy to choose the best technical paths to

bring a goal to life, working in a fast-paced environment where your code

directly influences the "well-lit paths" used by developers across Alphabet.The

Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We

are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer

platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the

essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our

users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across

Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and

strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique

opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the

company.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight

deadlines.

* Synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers through ongoing

advising and collaboration.

* Collaborate with other engineers on final implementation and polish.

* Meet high accessibility standards.

* Serve as a mentor for early career UX engineers and peers.
